I love my family!
My mom Delana has put up with me for the past 18 years, and for that I’m truly grateful because if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be where I am today. Honestly, when I look back it breaks my heart because I remember my mother “the one who brought me in this wold, and the one person that would ALWAYS be there no matter the issue” being hospitalized because of stage four Brest Cancer. She battled that for approximately 3 years and WON!!! Even though I don’t say it often my mom rocks and is so incredibly blessed! That goes both ways :D!
On July 16, 2011 my mother got to award me my Eagle Pin, and we were both happy to see that our efforts had paid off! My mother deserves a mother of the year award and she certainly has one in my book! Thanks Momma (that’s the only time I will call you momma!) Delana’s Blog
My sister Rya a.k.a “the basketball nut” is one of my best friends in the world, and even though we fight a lot we love each other even more. Currently, Rya focuses on School, Church, and Basketball, and has a dream to one day play for the WNBA. She picked up her first basketball when she was 3 or 4 years old and hasn’t turned back! She’s naturally driven to success, and willing to dedicate the time needed for basketball while keeping her personal life balanced. She will go far! Rya’s Blog
Let’s be honest… My dad hasn’t been involved in my life as much as I would have like him to be, but at the end of the day he’s a child of God, and God say’s to forgive! So that’s what I do! I have to give credit to my dad because I wouldn’t be here with out him! As I get older I hope my relationship with my dad strengthens but I’m sure God will lead me in the right direction!
